Eastman completes plasticizer expansion at Estonia site

Eastman Chemical Company announced it has completed an expansion of its "Benzoflex3、 在钢绞线的拉伸进程中" plasticizer line a压力容器t its site in Kohtla-Jrve, Estonia. The benzoic acid derivative, which the company produces in Estoni粉碎机a, is a benzoa调节器te ester plasticizer used in adhesives, sealants and caulks, and is also used in PVC applications such as vinyl flooring. The chemical company acquired the plasticizer product line earlier this year by buying Genovique Specialties Corporation. According to Ron Lindsay, executive vi字典纸ce president, Performance Polymers and Chemical Intermediates at Eastman, the additional capacity will allow to meet the growing demand for plasticizers.
